Historic article:  article in the South Bend Tribune Magazine – estimated year 1956.   The Article is by Sarah Lockkerbie.  It talks about her eight years in boxing, and that sometimes she had to resort to wrestling when boxing was not allow.  It also reports that she participated in CANADA’s FIRST EVENT of the kind, Stage in Calgary, Alberta.  and it was reported to have been a huge success.   There is also mention that three of her fights were against males and said that she won the bouts.
