1976: First ever Amateur Female Boxer in California?

According to the Bakersfield Californian, dated October 8, 1976, Page 25, they have a photo of ROSI REED, and stating the following: “Paul Monoz, manager-trainer of first amateur woman boxer in California, Rosi Reed, checks gloves on his charge before workout.  Mrs. Reed is scheduled to appear on Wednesday’s amateur fight card at Strilch.   [Note:  we believe that the first amateur boxer would come from the San Pedro Boxing Club with Dee Knuckles that were fighting non-pro bouts.}
