(NOV 29) This week WBAN got an opportunity to catch up with female boxer Alesia Graf, who will be fighting in December. She talks about this upcoming bout, along with the sport and other tidbits of updates and thoughts about the sport!

TL Fox: Alesia, WBAN has been told that you have an upcoming fight that will soon take place. Can you tell up about when this fight will take place, and who you will be fighting?

Alesia: I will fight on 15th December 2012 in my hometown Stuttgart, Germany. My opponent is Liliana Martinez. The fight will be broadcasted at www.schwarzwald-regiotv.de.

TL Fox: Is this upcoming fight for a title shot or non-title?

Alesia: At this fight I will defend my WBF world title. I won this title at 21st December 2011 in Australia.

TL Fox: We know that you were born in Belarus and relocated to Germany. I believe we were told that you are living in Australia at this time. Are you still in Australia, or in another area?

Alesia: I´m living in Germany, Stuttgart again. I was in Australia and it was an important time for me. I was  a world champion again and I established my own promotion company Graf-Promotions and won many Australian fans.

TL Fox: In your last fight you fought Susie Ramadan in Australia where Ramadan is from. The fight was a close controversial Split decision where one judge saw the fight in your favor. Can you give us details of this fight and how you felt about it resulting in a 10-round split decision?

Alesia: I won this fight against Ramadan you can see this in YouTube. All the people saw this but you the boxing business 🙂 If you´re boxing in foreign countries you must win during KO.

TL Fox: With that said, is there any discussion as to having a rematch with Ramadan at this point?

Alesia: At the moment I focus on my fight at 15th December after this we can talk about a rematch.

TL Fox: Are you training full time in boxing, or are you working a job and boxing at the same time? If you are working, what do you do outside of the ring?

Alesia: I am a full-time boxer.

TL Fox: If you were to have a “Wish List” for your boxing career, who would you like to fight, or rematch with?

Alesia: I have fought good boxers. For my wish list would be Anna Maria Torres from Mexico.

TL Fox: You have an extensive boxing record of 25-3-0 (10KO), of all of your fights, which fight did you feel the best about? What fight were you the most disappointed with?

Alesia: I was disappointed in Australia against this fight Ramadan, and my best fight was against Zulina Munoz because everything was perfect.

TL Fox: What is a typical training regime are you doing to prepare for fights?

Alesia: I train the whole year, just 6 weeks for the fights I do for explosively and sparring practice.

TL Fox: As far as the sport of women’s boxing goes, do you feel that the sport is growing in your opinion, or do you feel it is in any type of decline?

Alesia: I know that women’s boxing grows because this is the reason why I do it again and again 🙂 . Also that the reason why I established my promotions company. Just that women’s boxing needs more support. That is very important!

TL Fox: If you were to give advice to new women boxers on the scene, what would you tell them?

Alesia: I would say, train everyday hard and focus on your goal and believe in yourself and  that one day you will be a world champion.

TL Fox: Do you have any comments you would like to say that I may not have asked you?

Alesia:  I would like to say hello and thank you to all my fans in the whole world and also Merry Christmas. My live online streaming for my next fight is during schwarzwald-regiotv.de.
