Folks you do not need to invent stories in boxing, because as they say with the ole’ cliche “truth is stranger than fiction.” This is the first bit of news that I believe WBAN has never reported. This week a boxer (we believe to be Yahaira Hernandez according to our sources) had her hair cut to make weight! We do not
know if this was a spoof on YouTube, but if not this is one of the craziest weigh-in tactics we have seen in a long time. (chuckle). Video was no longer available as of 2025.
