Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano Makes Another Historical Imprint Saturday Night
(SEPT 10) On Saturday night, at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano, now 35-1-1 (26KO), of Brooklyn, went for her sixth title, in six weight classes, making history when she fought in a WBO Super Lightweight World Title against Yamila Reynoso. Serrano won the bout by a ten-round unanimous decision, with judges scores of 99-91 on all cards.
Serrano now holds world titles in the divisions of: bantamweight, junior featherweight, featherweight, junior lightweight and lightweight, and now super lightweight.
Unfortunately the Serrano vs. Reynoso fight was not part of the Porter-Garcia “Showtime Championship Boxing” telecast, but according to internet sources, it was streamed live and for free on the Showtime Sports YouTube channel and the Showtime Boxing Facebook.
