(SEPT 14) Last night at the Madison Square Garden, in New York, WBAN would like to give a huge congratulations to Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano who fought for our WBAN Featherweight Independent World Title Belt along with the World Title federation belts! Serrano fought Heather “The Heat” Hardy, winning the bout by a ten-round unanimous decision.
Serrano has now won TWO WBAN World title belts—NOT an easy feat for any fighter—as we are totally independent, a non-sanctioned belt and is only on the very TOP fights that are put together.
Nice job, Serrano and Heather Hardy—you both did women’s boxing proud…This was a history-first for WBAN, being fought at the Madison Square Garden, New York.
