Ann Wolfe Signs Wtih Prize Fight Promotions; Ali Offered to Fight Wolfe -2004
(JAN 28) WACO-TX- RPM Boxing has officially retained Prize Fight Promotions to promote Super Middleweight World Champion Ann “Brown Sugar” Wolfe. RPM Boxing says they are excited about working with Brian Young and Prize Fight Promotions to keep Ann busy and to continue building her career. RPM Boxing owner Brian Pardo said, “We are very impressed with Brian Young and his team, and we are looking forward to a very successful relationship “.
Ann was extremely well received by fans at a recent boxing event promoted by Prize Fight Promotions this past weekend in Tunica, Mississippi although she did not fight. Wolfe, who is 16-1-0-11 ko’s, is scheduled to fight next on February 7th at the Grand Coushatta Casino in Kinder, La. Ann has a huge fan base there as a result of the October 11th fight with Sunshine Fettkether and the fact that she was born and raised only a few miles from the casino.
Prize Fight Promotions has advised Ann Wolfe and RPM Boxing that Laila Ali has offered to fight Ann, but Ali said the purse for the fight would have to be $2 million dollars. RPM Boxing said negotiations for a Wolfe/Ali fight are completely in the hands of their new promoter, Prize Fight Promotions.
