On Thursday, February 26, 1976, in Portland, Maine, Lady Tyger Trimiar fought Margie “KO” Dunson. According to the Newport (R.I.) Daily News, dated February 27, 1976, Friday, they reported the following. “For Marian Trimiar, who is known in the ring as “Tyger or “Black Kojak”, 22 years old, defeated Dunson, 25 years old, by a TKO in the fourth round.
It was one of two female bouts, with one being an EXHIBITION MATCH between Cathy “Cat” Davis vs. Gwen Gemini.
As documented in this article, they wrote that although Lady Tyger Trimiar has boxed in several EXHIBITION FIGHTS, it was Miss Dunson’s first professional match.
