Hungarian Referee Talks about the Wallberg Vs. Prazak bout – by Jollydee of Hungary

(JUNE 19) I managed to speak to the Hungarian referee Bela Florian about Wallberg vs. Prazak bout that took place on June 14th, in Sweden —after the match happened. The referee said the following:

“It was a very great fight, and a loss of direction after the fight.”

“Neither the ring doctor or the ambulance crew were not on top of things, you simply stop responding. Based on what he saw everyone was sure of a victory for Frida Wallberg, and no one was prepared for such a turn.”

“At least ten minutes had passed, and everyone has a job as they should, and had begun to stabilize boxer. Then just received oxygen! It was the urging of the ring doctor to look at the boxer knocked out again when he – along with others – saw serious trouble.”

“We always say that we have more of a punch just like a shock later to end the match. We have a primary responsibility and that is to enforce the rules, and preserve the health of boxers.”

“But it is very difficult to know when is the moment when we must end the meeting. If before, with no consequences, the training, the boxer, and even scold the audience is the judge of what a loser you are, everyone is condemned because he is the closest to the event. The latter is certainly true.”

“It is therefore necessary to accept the decision. “- Continued the recognized expert. “Wallberg very tired in the middle of the match, but only 5 rounds lost.”

“After hammering the time I left the boxer to recover, her eyes were clear, and responded to my instructions. After the first knock down was not any noticeable signs that a woman boxer issues. Following the match, no one condemned you, but I’m also weary of the case. I am now in my 23th year as a professional referee, but never experienced a similar incident.” – Said Bela Florian.
