Latest Update on Daisy “The Lady” Lang!

(APR 21)  WBAN had the pleasure of catching up with retired world boxing champion Daisy “The Lady” Lang.  Lang boxed professionally from 1996 to 2004.  Lang was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, but during her boxing years she fought out of Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.  Lang had an accumulative record of 19-3-1 (7KO). During her time as a pro she fought some of the noted women boxers that included Germany’s Regina Halmich, Silke Weickenmeier, Michelle Sutcliffe, Kathy Williams, Michelle Aboro, and more.

Lang told WBAN this week, “After a successful career in the sports world in Europe, I moved to Los Angeles (I like the weather) to concentrate on my acting career and business.”

“In 2007,  I became a member of SAG and have been working in films and commercials, mostly in action roles.”

“Currently I am also a physical therapist and use my experience as a world class athlete and knowledge in the medical field to promote boxing as a way to stay in physical and mental shape.”
