(JUNE 14) Coming up this week in the first half hour of American Voices on SiriusXM Radio, Senator Bradley will be interviewing retired world champion Mia The Knockout” St. John. St. John, not only a success inside the ring, outside of the ring she also speaks to children in schools on the importance of education and on overcoming hardships.
Mia St. John recently retired from boxing, and as she reflects on her career, she tells Senator Bradley, “The biggest lesson I learned in my career was that my sole purpose on this Earth was not boxing. It was not to beat up on other people or to cause harm or pain to other people. It was simply a vehicle to take me to a much greater purpose in life, which I believe is to help people, the mentally ill, the poverty stricken.”
They air two half hour shows back to back, and this interview with Mia St. John airs in the first half hour. Channel 124.
