In the INCLINE VILLAGE-NEVADA News (UPI), the reported that on May 5, 1976, female boxer Caroline Svendsen dropped her guard to fix her bra , and she caught a right to her chin from which she never recovered.
Svendsen, reported to be 35 years at the time, of Virginia City , Nevada, was stopped at 1:28 seconds of the second round by ERSI ARVISO, of Los Angeles, California. They referred to the fight as a SPECIAL EVENT FIGHT (ah…exhibition? perhaps….)
Svendsen said at the time that she believed she was the first woman to be licensed to box. It was the pro debut of ARVISO.
