The FIRST Professional Women’s boxing Association in the Sport – 1978
This HISTORY FIRST in the sport of women’s Professional Female Boxing was developed by Bill Paul. This was at the same time that he among others were fighting for the rights of the amateur female boxers contesting the AAU that would not let them participate as an amateur. This document is the Official certification of this organization. Below is a letter that was written to the AAU from the association.
The following letter is an official document that WBAN has on file that addresses the AAU in regards to allowing amateurs (females) to be able to participate. The International Women’s Professional Boxing Association (IWPBA) states why females should be able to fight in the event.
