SQUEAKY BAYARDO, a 127-pound featherweight fought against Cora Webber on the first all-female boxing card in Hawthorne, California on 2/11/79. The fight ended in a draw. The crowd roared as these two fighters went head to heard with each other.
Some of the highlights of Bayardo’s career her longetivity in women’s boxing, she was World ranked #2 in the lightweight divisions in 1979, and ranked #1 as a super-featherweight in 1984.
